Born in Akron, Ohio, I’ve proudly called Maumee home for the past 12 years. My wife, Michelle Poeppelmeier, and I are raising our three amazing kids here, all of whom attend Maumee City Schools.

Community involvement has always been a priority for me. I’m an active member of the Exchange Club of Maumee and the Maumee Chamber of Commerce. I’ve coached with the Maumee Youth Soccer Association, volunteered with the Boy Scouts, and now support Maumee Athletics as a proud member of the Maumee Athletic Boosters—look for me helping out at football games!

I graduated from the University of Toledo in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. I’m a proud Rocket, an alumnus of the University of Toledo Alumni Band, and a lifelong member of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity.

Today, I work as a Realtor with Keller Williams Citywide right here in Maumee. When I’m not working or volunteering, you’ll likely find me on the golf course or cheering on my kids at their sporting events.

I believe in the power of community and am excited to continue serving Maumee in meaningful ways.
